Early timesAlready during Stone Age there has been a highly developped culture in the area we now know as DRBG land.It is not yet absolutely proofed, but some scientists believe that scripture was actually invented in the DRBG area even earlier than in the ancient states of the Middle East. There have also traces of monolithes been found in our country which propose that early cultures in this area have already had profound knowledge of planet and star movement.IndependanceAfter many years of dependance from other nations (beginning with the Roman invasion by Caesar, ending with occupation by French and Taizéan forces) our country finally decided to fight for independance. The leaders of civil resistance against invasion were the Spanish psychologist David de Castellon and the German physicist Markus von Wattenscheid. Peaceloving as they are they used all their diplomatic knowledge to negotiate a treaty between the newly founded DRBG provisorical government and Frère Roger, the majesty of Taizé. So finally on April, 2nd, 2001, the DRBG gained independance, without any bloody fight. In the first democratic elections of the country, David and Markus were elected First President and First President of the new country. With 100% participation and 100% of the votes for each of the candidates, the nation underlined they good work these two politicians had done. |
